Angela Cathey, M.A. has over ten years of experience in applied and integrative methods to produce better outcomes. Within industry she has worked one-on-one, with organizations, and across systems to create change. This has included data-driven Executive Coaching to help leaders refine their effectiveness and awareness. She has worked as an Organizational Consultant and Data Analyst with organizations to measure and create more adaptive behavior. Her approach is deeply contextual and relies on creating methods and spaces for open communication. She believes that sustainable change must involve integrative, aware solutions that adjust to changing conditions. Her long-term focus is on creating collaborations between knowledge silos and creating integrative supportive technologies. Angela believes that in order for humanity to survive and thrive in increasing complexity, we must attend to creating systems and tools that allow us to better connect to ourselves, each other, and our environments. In order to achieve this, she consults with forward thinking businesses to create innovative products and strategies that support humanities development.
Gareth Holman, PhD
Gareth Holman, PhD is a psychologist, trainer, and writer living in Seattle, Washington. He completed my Ph.D in Clinical Psychology at the University of Washington in 2011. The focus of his clinical training was contemporary, evidence-based, integrative cognitive-behavioral treatments including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Behavioral Activation (BA), Integrative Behavioral Couples Therapy, and most notably Functional Analytic Psychotherapy (FAP). He is lead author of the book FAP Made Simple: A Practical Guide to Therapeutic Relationships (New Harbinger Press, 2017). He is the lead trainer for online FAP therapist trainings and work closely with the Center for the Science of Social Connection at the University of Washington to develop FAP research and trainings. He is an organizational consultant who helps business teams communicate and cooperate more effectively towards their purpose and their business outcomes. He is passionate about disseminating evidence-based interventions and teaching the wisdom, sensitivity, and compassion needed to work at the front line in service of others. Besides his work with FAP, from 2011 through 2014, he served as Associate Director and Research Scientist at the Evidence-Based Practice Institute/PracticeGround, building technology-based tools to support delivery of evidence-based treatments.
Todd Ward, PhD, BCBA-D

Ward, PhD, BCBA-D is President of bSci21Media, LLC, which owns bSci21.org, a world leader in the dissemination of behavior analysis to the public through articles, video production, web design, and entrepreneurial consultation. He is a passionate believer in the role of entrepreneurship in fulfilling Skinner’s vision of a technology of behavior change to improve the world. Dr. Ward received his PhD in behavior analysis from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2013 and specializes in Organizational Behavior Management and Behavioral Systems Analysis. He has served as a Guest Associate Editor for the Journal of Organizational Behavior Management and currently serves on the Editorial Board of Behavior & Social Issues.
Daniel Cathey, MA
Daniel’s experience includes working in behavioral therapies and interventions as well as educational systems. Through his work experience as an educator, experiential therapist, organizational advancement consultant, and nonprofit program director, Daniel has developed a diverse range of assets connected to team leadership, fundraising and public relations activities. Daniel is experienced in building relationships with stakeholders and management of new initiatives, fundraising, and operations. He co-leads the production of media and educational materials in his role as COO for ENSO.
Benji Schoendorff, MA, MSc
Benjamin Schoendorff, MA, MSc, is director of the Contextual Psychology Institute in Montreal, QC, Canada. He is involved in ACT research at the Montreal University Mental Health Institute, and a clinical psychologist in private practice working with adults, children, teens, and couples. Schoendorff is passionate about making ACT simple for both therapists and clients. He’s authored and coauthored several ACT books in French, coedited The ACT Matrix with Kevin Polk, and coauthored The ACT Practitioner’s Guide to the Science of Compassion with Dennis Tirch and Laura Silberstein. A peer-reviewed ACT trainer and certified functional analytic psychotherapy (FAP) trainer, Schoendorff has led approximately two-hundred workshops around the world, and is currently disseminating the six-step ACT Matrix approach at the heart of this book. His workshops are widely appreciated for their direct clinical applicability, deep humanity, and warm sense of humor.
